John, along with Susan
Hargleroad, was honored as a finalist by the Colorado Trial Lawyers
Association for its Case of the Year Award in recognition of their $4.8
million jury verdict in Ho Thu Thi, et al. v. Le Cuong Kim, et al. The
case, based on claims of clergy sexual fondling, defamation, breach of
fiduciary duty and outrageous conduct, was the third largest jury
verdict in the State of Colorado in 2003.
