Timothy J. Parsons

Timothy J. Parsons is special counsel to the firm. He is a nationally recognized ERISA expert and has specialized for over 30 years in the representation of multiemployer and single employer benefit plans and government plans, providing the entire range of compliance, transactional and litigation services needed by the firm's clients. Mr. Parsons has particular expertise representing fiduciaries and administrators of collectively bargained plans in contested regulatory matters and federal court litigation.

Tim is a frequent speaker and prolific author. He is a contributing author and chapter editor for the second edition of Employee Benefits Law, (BNA 2000) and its annual supplements. He also wrote the chapters on Delinquency Actions and COBRA litigation for ERISA Litigation, third edition (2008) and its annual supplements and is also a contributing author for the sixth edition of the Trustees Handbook published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
